In order for the body to remain healthy and alive, your body keeps a precise balance of blood pH at 7.365, which is slightly alkaline. The body does whatever it has to in order to maintain this balance. The problem is that most people have incredibly acid lifestyles. Acid is produced in your body from the acid-forming foods you eat, as well as from stress and upset emotions.

The typical diet is significantly acidic. So, what happens to your body when you’re over-acid? Your body will store excess acid in your fat cells (which is why so many people have such trouble losing weight). Over time your body will leach calcium and alkaline from your bones in a desperate attempt to retain the pH balance in your body. This is why it is so important to drink alkaline water daily, to help neutralize the acid in your body. Preferably, a minimum of 2 – 3 litres of 9.5 pH alkaline water per day.

There are many different methods of alkalizing your water. You can add pH drops, or baking soda, or various other alkaline substances to regular tap water. This application will slightly increase the pH, but not to a high alkaline level of 9.5. Nor, will this change the O.R.P. (Oxidation Reduction Potential) value, or the water cluster size.

When you use a water ionizer to alkalize your water you are not adding something to the water, but rather, you are dividing the water ions (Negative and Positive) to a pre-set level. This is achieved by the water running over platinum coated titanium plates, and an electrical charge applied to the water current. (This is why the plate size is the most important function of a water ionizer.) As well as achieving a pH range of 1.8 – 12.1, you can obtain an O.R.P. value of -920mv. This is what removes the harmful toxins and acidic wastes from your body. The smaller water cluster allows the water to penetrate every cell of your body immediately upon consumption.
